HOW TO GET THE MOST FROM THIS PROGRAM:

a

Most of the activities featured on our websites are designed to support the content and human resource needs of our African Memory Project (AMP). Teachers of African Diaspora subject matter at all levels have much to gain by structuring customized participatory learning activities around the unique possibilities this work presents.

The African Memory Project is a virtual proving ground where teachers and students can experience the benefits of learning aross borders. AMP also presents unique income opportunities for trained groups of individuals and organizations.

To reap the maximum benefit from this work, we require that you form your own (or join) a Community of Practical Engagement (COPE) so you can leverage the skills you are about to acquire to addess specific developmental communications problems. Our websites are communications frameworks for groups of people like you and your associates to modify, expand, re-designand re-invent according to your specific needs.

For example, COPE groups permit teachers to easily engage students in meaningful activities for students learning about African, African American and Diaspora history and affairs. Over the last 20 years, we have built a web of organizational networks that can share best practices with the goal of creating unique and socially beneficial applications centered around serving local and global information markets for information about people of African descent. Teacher-student engagement with our Sister City/Sister School online learning experiences can add unparalled dimensions to your schools offerings for Black History Month and far beyond.

In this Digital Age, CONTENT IS KING. We specialize in providing assistance to local content developers to help them bring visually enriched learning materials to the $16 billion per annum (and growing fast) global markets for digital learning materials. At the outset, we realized that all the Internet and telecom infrastructure our clients were building throughout the develpoing world would be meaningless without progams that actively engage considerable numbers of participants.

When a school district collaborates with us, learners get reliable access to fresh and interactive/participatory content about, by and for Black people of all colors. In addition, learners will uncover opportunties to become part of the rapidly growing revenue stream for information about the African world by creators who are native to those diverse regions.

We encourage you to participate in our African Memory communities catering to:

  • Buyers
  • Digital Publishing
  • Content Developers

  • Others of your choosing
